Laptops 4 Learning, a Phoenix based 503 (c) organization has partnered with VideoScholarship.org to provide up to 30 refurbished laptops for enrolling college students on a monthly basis. If you have just graduated from high school and come from a low-income family, then this could be the program for you. Also, if you find yourself enrolling in college in your mid-thirties in order to make more money and need some financial support along the way, then this is also the program for you.

To be eligible, laptop recipients must:

1. Have a family income of $50,000 or less.  Income is self-reported by applicant.

2. Demonstrate proof of enrollment at a college or university OR have a college acceptance letter.

3. Provide one of the following explaining why a laptop will help them further their education. 

     a) Upload a 90 second video explaining why they should be selected

     b) Upload a 90 second audio file explaining why they should be selected

     c) Write an essay of 500 words or less explaining why they should be selected

2. Dell

The Dell affiliate program partners with TechSoup to provide non-profit organizations and libraries with discounts on a series of select items. This includes desktops, laptops, tablets, servers, & accessories. Any non-profit organization or any member of a non-profit organization is eligible for this discount regardless of how large the organization is.

HP.com for nonprofits partners with TechSoup to provide discounts on desktops, laptops, printers, supplies, & more. Discounts only apply for a select list of items. Any non-profit organization or any member of a non-profit organization is eligible for this discount regardless of how large the organization is.

4. Lenovo

Lenovo provides benefits for any employees, students, faculty members, & retirees interested in the program. When you join the program, you get access to a special site with savings and discounts. This program is great for anyone who isn’t a part of a non-profit organization but still wants great deals. K-12 and college students of all income levels are eligible for this deal and anyone who is currently employed with a job is also eligible for this deal. This makes Lenovo a very special discount program because it’s available to everyone in the general public.

5. Samsung

Samsung offers 30% discounts for those in the military, education, government, & first responders. If you happen to be in more than one of these fields then you can combine deals to save even more money. Save 30% or more on select items when you have proof of identification. This deal is great for the patriots of our armed forces, any student or teacher currently involved in education, any person who works for the government, and of course the brave first responders on the front lines.

Coming in at last is LG Electronics. They don’t offer any discounts for students, but they do offer seasonal promotions. Visit the website and save up to $450 on select laptops offered on their site. This promotion is perfect for people who are already going to buy a laptop but are struggling to find reasonable prices for the kind of laptop they want.
