Washington D.C. is the capital of the United States of America. This small district supports a large population, with over 646,000 residents living within its borders. Little known fact:  More people work in DC and live in DC.  True to form, the government sector is heart beat of DC, but there is a growing technology sector and knowledge workers are becoming more and more prevalent within the city.
