About the School:

Western Michigan University is a learner-centered, research university, building intellectual inquiry and discovery into undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs in a way that fosters knowledge and innovation, and transforms wisdom into action. As a public university, WMU provides leadership in teaching, research, learning, and service, and is committed to enhancing the future of our global citizenry.

Laptop Programs:

Western Michigan University Libraries, in collaboration with the Office of Information Technology, has a limited supply of PC laptops and webcams available for loan. Laptops and webcams can be checked out for an entire semester by any registered WMU student who is in need of these items to complete their coursework. All loaner laptops meet WMU's minimum laptop specification recommendation. These laptops may not meet college-specific recommendations if you are attending one of those programs. Laptops and webcams are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Bring your Bronco Card to the Service Desk at Waldo Library during open hours to check out an item. You will be asked to sign an agreement as part of the checkout process.
