About the School:

West Los Angeles College is a two-year, public community college in the western Baldwin Hills, adjacent to Culver City in Los Angeles County, California. The college uses a Culver City address. WLAC is a part of the California Community Colleges System, in the Los Angeles Community College District.

Laptop Programs:

Los Angeles College Promise (AB19) provides free tuition for all first-time freshman of any age or income, who attend West Lost Angeles College (WLAC) full-time.  To qualify, students must apply to WLAC, apply for FAFSA or CA Dream Act, participate in a summer transition experience, maintain full-time enrollment and establish/maintain a minimum 2.000-grade point average (“C” average). “Promise” students may also qualify for our First Year Pathway program; a full-time cohort program that guarantees full-time enrollment for Fall and Spring-based on your educational interest or major.      

LACP- provides support to first-time college students with a comprehensive strategy to complete a higher education degree, university transfer or workforce certificate in a timely manner.

  The Los Angeles College Promise (LACP) does not only provide  free tuition fee (2 years) but also offers free laptops to the first-time  college  students.
