About the School:

Wayne State University is a public research university in Detroit, Michigan. It is Michigan's third-largest university. Founded in 1868, Wayne State consists of 13 schools and colleges offering approximately 350 programs to more than 26,000 graduate and undergraduate students.

Laptop Programs:

The Warrior Laptop Program will offer Pell-eligible incoming first-time, first-year students the opportunity to claim a refurbished Dell laptop at zero out-of-pocket cost. Eligible students can pick up their laptop at the C&IT Help Desk. In order to qualify to receive a laptop, students must: 1) be Pell eligible; 2) be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours in the fall 2019 semester; and 3) begin Wayne State in fall 2019 as an incoming first-year undergraduate student.

Accreditation:

Since 1915, Wayne State University has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, one of six regional accrediting agencies in the United States that provides accreditation to colleges and universities at the institutional level.
