Undergraduate students at Wake Forrest University are given the option to purchase a laptop through WakeWare at no additional cost. Laptops come with an extended warranty and are insured. Students who receive institutional need, merit, or athletic scholarship support are eligible to participate in WFU’s Technology Grant Program. The Technology Grant covers the one-time full cost of a Standard WakeWare laptop, Dell XPS 13″ Non-Touch. Students also have the option to choose any other WakeWare laptop by applying the value of the Technology Grant and personally being responsible for the remaining cost. Students without institutional aid, but who are receiving outside scholarships and demonstrated need may also apply for a WFU Technology Grant. A Committee from WFU Student Financial Aid will review the request.
