About the School:

After its incorporation in 1785, the University of Georgia became the first state-supported public university for higher education. Currently located in Athens, the main campus is built on 762 acres of land and consists of 465 buildings.

The university enrolls more than 38,000 students with its 18 colleges and schools. Distance learners can choose degree programs related to business administration, writing, arts, education, psychology & health sciences, workforce education, foods & nutrition, health & medicine, and finance. The online courses are designed to be very flexible and convenient. Students can complete a curriculum at times that best suits their schedule.

Online Presence:

The University of Georgia offers an array of bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, individual courses, and certification programs. Tuition fees will vary depending on the course. Students will be charged for the online tuition as well as student fees per semester. Visit the online courses page to get a searchable list of all the programs available.

Laptop Programs:

Through the laptop loaner program, students can have short-term access to computers for academic needs. It is eligible for students who don’t have access to a laptop for academic purposes. Also, the student must be enrolled in the semester for which the request for a laptop is submitted.

To receive the laptop, you need to complete the request form in GradStatus. After the request is reviewed, you will be contacted within three business days.
