Peru State College is the first and oldest institution in Nebraska, founded in 1865. It has a 100% acceptance rate and does not require an ACT or SAT score. Peru State College organizes competitions in research athletics and has over 100 bachelor's and master's degree programs. Business, psychology, criminal justice, and safety studies are among the most popular majors. Tuition and fees for both resident and non-resident students cost approx. $20,734 per year. However, the college provides a variety of scholarships, and 99% of freshmen receive this scholarship or financial help.
