About the School:

Mt. San Antonio College is a public community college in Walnut, California. It offers more than 260 degree and certificate programs, 25 support programs, and more than 50 student clubs and athletic programs, including counseling and tutoring.

Laptop Programs:

The Mt. SAC Promise+Plus program is a combination of services to help first-time college students access the life-changing benefits of a college education, whether to get career training, earn a degree or transfer credits to a university.

Free Promise+Plus Benefits

FREE BOOK GRANT
  • full-time students taking 12+ units receive a $250 book grant
  • part-time students with 6-11.5 units get a $125 book grant

  • Use a laptop throughout the semester at no additional cost

    How to Qualify for Promise+Plus

    • You must be a first-time, first-year college student
    • Attend and complete the STEP Into College Program OR the Summer Bridge Program
    • Enroll in 12+ units for full-time benefits (6-11.5 units for part-time benefits) during the Fall/Spring
    • Enroll in an English writing or Math class during Fall/Spring
    • Maintain a 2.0+ GPA each term

How to Sign Up for Promise+Plus

After applying to attend Mt. SAC, students can sign up for the Promise+Plus program by filling out the Promise+Plus Application available through the Promise Office in the Student Services Building (9B). Students  must complete the qualification steps in order to receive Promise+Plus Benefits.
