About the School:

Merced College is a public community college based in Merced, California. Combining both part-time and full-time students, the college has a total annual enrollment of over 10,000 students. MC utilizes a semester-based academic calendar and offers a student/faculty ratio of 27:1.

The college offers its degree programs through 7 schools and the popular areas of study include business, management, psychology, marketing, and social sciences. The current offerings include 82 associates and 50 certification programs. The tuition and fees for in-state students are approx. $1,100 and out-of-state students need to pay approx. $6,100.

Online Presence:

Laptop Programs:

The college offers Laptop Loaner Program through which students can loan a laptop for their courses. To obtain these laptops, you must be enrolled in the current semester and must be in good academic standing. Once your application is approved, you can collect it from the Merced and Los Banos campuses.


Merced College is regionally accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
