Lamar University is a nationally recognized public institution that is located in Beaumont, Texas. It was founded in 1923 and currently has a campus size of 292 acres. Lamar has a total enrollment of around 17,000 students. Admission to this institution is considered selective, with an acceptance rate of 84%.
