Students in good standing may borrow a laptop computer that may be used anywhere on campus and is equipped with wireless access to the Internet when used on campus. Overnight and weekend use is also available.
About the School:Delaware County Community College (DCCC) is a two-year community college in the Philadelphia area that serves Delaware and Chester Counties with locations in the Pennsylvania suburbs of Marple Township, Sharon Hill, Upper Darby, Downingtown, Exton, Phoenixville and West Grove. Delaware County Community College was officially established on March 1, 1967. The directors of Delaware County school districts elected the Board of Trustees, which then elected Mr. Donald P. Jones as their chairman. On May 23, 1967, the Board of Trustees selected Dr. Douglas F. Libby to be the first President of the college then Richard DeCosmo, and now Jerry Parker.
Laptop Programs:The Learning Commons loans laptops for two days or over the weekend to current students. Just come to a Learning Commons service desk with your current student ID with a validated current semester sticker. You will be asked to sign a technology loan agreement. We’ll ask you to sign this agreement each time you borrow a laptop. Here’s when your laptop will be due, depending on when you check it out:
