About the School:

Cuyahoga Community College or also known as Tri-C is a public community college founded in 1963. The college is located in Cleveland, Ohio, and has four campuses including several off-campus sites located throughout the county. It has an annual enrollment of over 23,000 and offers associate’s level programs as its highest degree.

Tri-C also has an extensive range of course offerings. Each semester it provides over 1000 credit courses in more than 200 career and technical programs. The most popular areas of study include general studies, liberal arts & sciences, business, marketing, management, and health professionals. Students are offered 16:1 student/faculty. The college also represents students of varying demographics. The age group of students range from 15 to 75+, 37% of the total students are from minority groups, and over 60% of students are female.

Online Presence:

Tri-C offers both 100% online and blended courses. These are offered via the Blackboard learning management platform. The courses are offered in various forms. Some require no meetings times, while others will require you to participate in scheduled online meetings.

Laptop Programs:

With the Student Laptop Program, the college allows students to purchase laptops at a very discounted price. Tri-C has purchased 300 Dell Inspiron laptops, which they will be distributing amongst eligible students just for $240. Students can even use their financial grants to purchase these laptops. To be eligible, you need to enroll in a minimum of half-time (6-credits) in an academic program and need to be in a workforce certificate program. Visit their page to know the full details.
