About the School:

Clarion University is a public coeducational institution for higher learning founded in 1867. It is a member of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) and offers degree programs at associates, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels. Including both national and international students, Clarion educates over 4,400 students annually.

The acceptance rate of Clarion University is about 95% and has a gender distribution of approx. 32% male and 68% female. Students being admitted to the university usually have an SAT score ranging from 940 to 1130 and an ACT score of 17 and 23. In addition, the GPA for an average high school freshman is about 3.4.

With a student/faculty ratio of 16:1, CU offers more than 175 minors, majors, and certificates in areas of study including business, education, health, science, and arts. Tuition and fees are also quite affordable at approx. $11,100 for in-state and $15,000 for out-state students. Moreover, the university offers financial assistance to 85% of its students. These financial aids are offered in the form of grants, loans, scholarships, and student employment facilities.

Online Presence:

Laptop Programs:

Clarion University allows students to loan a laptop for educational purposes. You can also use your financial aid to purchase a laptop instead of borrowing. The amount you receive is provided on a case-by-case basis by adjusting your cost of attendance (COA). The maximum allowed for purchasing a computer is $1000, which may include the cost of a printer and other peripheral devices.
